PartsDinosaur's goal is to provide quality OE equivalent engine rebuilding parts at very competitive prices. Here at PD, you are not dealing with a large "dot com" organization but rather, one sincere individual who takes great pride in taking care of the customer with the best service possible. In doing so, I adhere to the following terms and conditions.
Sale Terms
PartsDinosaur will process and ship all orders that are paid in full before 3:30 p.m. on a business weekday, unless inventory quantities do not allow it. (Generally, if it will go into the shopping cart, it is in stock and ready to ship. Watch for any inventory messages at the top of the shopping cart screen.) Any order placed that can not be shipped the same day will create an immediate communication from us to the customer stating the reason and the time needed to fill the order, which is usually going to be the next business day. I will keep you updated via e-mail if any problems arise. Orders that can not be shipped in a timely manner will be refunded in full to your satisfaction. Please be sure to give me the best e-mail address and phone number possible to reach you for any communication.

Communication FACTS: (because an informed customer is a happy customer)
- Sorry. I just can not take phone calls or phone orders as it erases so much precious time that is required for daily shipping performance and all areas of good customer service . . . however . . . . a "one-man-band" can still communicate with all customers easily via e-mail and no one has to get put "on-hold" so . . . . .
- If you ask me a question via e-mail. . . . look for an immediate response. If I am awake, I am probably on-line. My e-mail server is just as fast as any instant message program you use. Check it out.
- If you asked a question using the (lame) eBay Message system, my response will come back to you via the e-mail account you have on file with eBay. Please look there (your e-mail service) for my reply. It still amazes me how many of those are "old address, no longer a registered account."
- ALL communication happens via e-mail so both parties have an exact record to work with. Faster and way easier than recording phone calls, think about it. . . . =o)
- ALL orders / payments will receive an e-mail response from me. The first one will be an "AutoReply" notice (from PayPal or the PartsDinosaur Store) so you know a transaction has actually occurred. The second one will be a personal reply with any questions or conditions that might need to be discussed but generally will contain information regarding exactly when your order will be shipped and where to look for tracking information.
- ALL shipments will generate an e-mail from your preferred delivery carrier that will inform you of the tracking number (UPS) or the delivery confirmation number (USPS).
- IF you do not receive this information on the day of your shipment. . . consider at least one of the following conditions:
- You did not give me a valid e-mail address
- You have a spam blocker program that allows you to live in your own little world (in frustration)
- You have an AOL e-mail address (or 15) and you haven't looked in the correct account name (yet) =o)
- You have a HOTMAIL account and have not looked in your SPAM folder
- You have a YAHOO account and have never looked in the "bulk mail" folder for any new e-mails !!
- You don't even have an e-mail provider but you made one up so you could submit your order! ( folks, this really happens! ! ! ! )
- MrsDinosaur processes credit card payments on the telephone (and she does that very well) but she is not a parts person so please understand that I need to use e-mail all day, every day, to keep up with all customers on a controlled and organized basis. It allows me to have a memory after I slept a couple of times, too ! =o)
- If you are not one to recognize the importance, speed and efficiency of both of us using e-mail, I am not certain why you are on-line trying to buy parts in the first place. But feel free to call your local parts store any time you want. I hope you can find an individual who cares and can read a paper catalog. Or, stand in line at an AutoZone store (a special experience in itself) and just listen to some of the conversations taking place there. (Leaving the parts business after 30 years, I only needed a few of those experiences myself to get right back into business in this manner! =o)
Common shipping conditions & FACTS:
- All orders must be shipped as I do not offer a "will-call" or "pick-up" option, a minimum payroll helps to keep these prices as low as possible. If you live in Arizona or southern Nevada, UPS Ground will deliver on the next business day for less than the cost of your gas !
- We ship only to U S Zip Code addresses. APO/FPO is never a problem using USPS Priority Mail. I served my time overseas and I know how much support our citizens outside the country can use.
- Business shipping days are Monday thru Friday, every week, except for holidays.

- USPS Priority Mail will be delivered to most US Zip Code mail boxes in just two days, but 3 days maximum ! (4 - 5 days for AK, HI, PR)
- UPS ground service will save you the most shipping cost on orders that weigh over 5 pounds but could take up to 5 business days to arrive at an eastern states' address. Check this page for more detailed information
- UPS 3-Day Select is 3 business days (M -F) - UPS does not count weekends !
- UPS (the brown truck) will not do Saturday delivery to many residential addresses. Saturday delivery, if available, must be agreed on in advance of placing your order and is usually an additional amount of $10 to $15. Just e-mail me for more details.
- USPS Priority Mail (the post office) delivers 6 days a week with your regular mail delivery. All shipments insured will require a signature at the time of delivery. If you are not home, your carrier is supposed to leave you a notice of attempted delivery so you can pick up your package at the serving post office on the next business day. Please understand that all shipments of value over $25 will be insured to protect us both. Packages left on your doorstep just don't have to stay there if someone else has eyes and ideas!
- I will be happy to quote the estimated shipping time for any order before you submit it, just e-mail me with your shipping address and time concerns and I will hit the reply button with my best recommendations. (Sorry, I can no longer do this on the telephone.)

Delivery Guarantees
UPS offers guaranteed delivery dates for their services on UPS Ground, UPS 3 Day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air and UPS Next Day Air and I have experienced that they will generally stand behind those guarantees. . . . with the exception being if weather or some other "act of God, or Mother Nature" does not allow them to do what they promise. When this happens, and it does happen, they will attempt to deliver your package as soon as they feel it is safe for their emplyoyees to do so. They do not call and ask questions, they do not call and tell us (you and me) how they intend to get caught up but they will deliver as soon as they feel they can. Obviously, when this happens, if they enter updated information about delays on your tracking record, there is nothing that this shipper (me) can do to recover your funds as a credit for the promised delivery date and service. It is just a matter that we don't get to vote and it does nothing but raise blood pressure and upset our relationship to think we can change the corporate decisions that are already made. (They do not get reversed when it comes to weather!)
Regarding the USPS Priority Mail service, 98+ % of my shipments on this service are usually delivered in 2 business days, BUT. . . . the USPS system does not offer a guaranteed delivery date for this service. . . . .at all. Now you know.
Missing Shipments / Delivery errors
Should an error in shipping or an absolute screw-up in delivery by the carrier occur (it happens), I have found it to be far easier to find a fast solution for both the buyer and the seller if no one presumes that they are getting scammed or that hard-earned cash has been lost forever. From experience over 5 years of selling parts on-line, conversations that begin with "flames" and harsh words go downhill pretty quickly and the only thing found at the bottom of that hill is a huge wall. Why go down there and run smack into it? When, with a few lines of civil communcations via e-mail, it would be simple to work out a solution to correcting the unfortunate event. I bring this up because I recently had a customer claim that I must be scamming him because on-line UPS tracking information stated that his package had been delivered, but was not to be found. At that point, we need to contact UPS to find out what happened and I will certainly do that on the next business day. In the meantime, many of my customers can tell you that I desire to find fast solutions to these events. They take far less time than the battle of words and threats that some folks feel is necessary. I'm just too old and experienced to be intimidated and don't have time for rude and obnoxious behavior. I have many customers every day who deserve my attention to provide "just good customer service." Above described behavior will simply move you to the bottom of the list. Shortages
Please inspect your purchase immediately upon receipt and notify me within 24 hours of any discrepancies. No orders will be backordered and all shipments will be complete unless discussed with you before shipment.
Refused or Return Shipments
Refused or undeliverable shipments are not satisfactory grounds for a refund. The shipment, if returned, will be held until the funds to cover re-shipping are received. Please be sure to use an address where someone will be available to accept shipment. All shipments are insured and may require a signature at the time of delivery.

Merchandise Returns Instructions
Payment Methods Accepted -- if it's not here, there is a good business reason for it.
Credit Cards:
I accept all Visa, MasterCard, and American Express cards. There are no credit card surcharges. Before you go to "Check-out" from the shopping cart, make your payment choice from the "pull-down menu" for payment type. If you choose one of the on-line payment methods, you will be able to make your credit card payment through a secure "payment gateway" from VeriSign. Credit card information entered is NOT stored on my site or available to me after your payment is made. Please be sure to provide the name, billing address (this is where your bank statement gets mailed to), and telephone number exactly as they appear on the credit card billing statement. Incorrect information may cause multiple "pending" charges to your card account and result in a delay in processing your order. If your payment will not process when you submit the order, there is a problem with the address or the bank balance and you should correct the problem before trying to submit the order again. All transactions are subject to address verification for your safety and security purposes.

If you get a recorded message, please leave your name and phone number and MrsDinosaur will return your call to complete your payment. This line is for payment processing only, please. PayPal Payment Instructions:
PayPal payments must be sent "manually" from your PayPal account and should reference the "PD Store Order #" that you receive after you submit your order. You will also get a copy of your order in an e-mail immediately if you wish to use that to "copy & paste" the information. Please use partsdinosaur@earthlink.net as the payment account and choose "Goods Other" as the 'payment type' on the PayPal "Send Money" page. Please note, your order will not be shipped until payment is received and verified from PayPal. ALSO, be aware that PayPal payments using "eCheck" will take 4-5 business days to clear and your purchase can not ship until that occurs. For security reasons and fraud protection, PartsDinosaur will only ship to the confirmed address on your PayPal account. You must have a credit card on your account to have a "confirmed address". This is the "Seller Protection Policy" offered by PayPal and the only way that PayPal payments to PartsDinosaur.com are accepted. If your PayPal account does not have a confirmed address, your payment will not process. Please consider using my secure payment processing page if this is the case.

Checks and money orders:
We accept personal checks, company checks, cashier's checks and money orders from USA customers. Simply submit an online order, let me know how you will be sending payment, and then mail your payment with a printed copy of your order confirmation page (or your e-mail receipt) to:

Please write your order number and email address on the check or money order. Currently I can only accept money orders denominated in U.S. dollars or checks denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks must also have a valid nine-digit bank routing number (ABA code) MICR-encoded on the bottom of the check. Returned checks will be subject to the maximum returned check fee allowed by law.
International customers who place an order to ship to a US address, credit cards will be the only accepted payment method.
Fax Orders:
If you are not comfortable with using the shopping cart, or the secure web payment form, you are welcome to fax in your online invoice to 602-431-9793. (Simply print out your finalized shopping cart form after you have entered your shipping zip code and chosen the shipping method.) We will process the order and call or email you with any questions or concerns. Be sure to give me your contact information and, if you wish, MrsDinosaur will call you to take your credit card information over the telephone.
